Handle the harder itineraries and escalations, and take turns on the duty phone while clients travel.
The operations desk turns to you when a file is complex or when plans change in the country. You keep the hardest programmes on track. You also help the rest of the desk improve their work.
What you will do
- Manage complex, multi-country and large group itineraries from confirmation to departure
- Handle escalations and problems on the ground, and agree fixes with suppliers and the agent
- Take turns on the duty phone while clients are travelling
- Review files prepared by executives and trainees before they go live
- Help train new staff on the operations desk
What we are looking for
- 3–6 years in DMC or inbound tour operations
- Strong knowledge of Vietnam, and working knowledge of Cambodia or Laos
- Fluent English, and Vietnamese to work with suppliers
- Able to solve problems calmly and quickly when time is short
Good to have
- Experience with MICE or large group movements
- Experience guiding or leading a small team
Where it leads
We promote people from within: Management Trainee, then Executive, then Senior Executive. The team you join is the team that trains you.
